Reliability and discreetness are the 2 most important features of oocyte and sperm donation programs. World Health Center pays utmost attention to these 2 features. Donors with physical properties similar to the parents are chosen. Donors are healthy women under 30. Donor information is kept discreet. Identity of oocyte recipient is not revealed.  However, we keep this information in written and electronic forms to be revealed to the recipient in case of a medical condition that requires the identity of the donor to be unmasked.

As egg recipients are relatively older and therefore should be carefully evaluated to exclude any medical conditions that may complicate a subsequent pregnancy.
